The adjoining infant and pre-toddler classrooms are most conducive to bonding and attachment during the first 18 months of baby’s life.
As you peek into the classroom through the one way windows you can watch babies while they marvel at their own reflection. Infants are just beginning the journey of growing up. At St. Anne’s, our classrooms support the unique needs of babies. There is a real sense of home and comfort with soft furnishings, individual cozy cribs and clean, safe bedding for each baby, convenient kitchen area, and separate diapering and laundry all to help them feel cared for and special. There is lots of room to encourage babies to explore, and private, comfortable areas for mothers to feed their babies on their breaks if they can. Visitors and staff remove their shoes to keep the floors clean for the babies emphasizing a healthy safe environment.
Our pre-toddler classrooms create a community of children as they directly adjoin the infant classrooms supported by a team of teachers. Transitioning is seamless and attachments are maintained as children move into our pre-toddler classrooms.
